Our pieces are delicate and often embellished with sequins, beads, and other decorative details. Please handle with care to preserve their condition and beauty.
Before attempting any cleaning, always check the care tag on your garment and follow the instructions provided.
We strongly recommend taking your piece to a reputable professional dry cleaner, especially one experienced with delicate or embellished clothing. Hand washing at home should only be done if no other option is available.
Spot clean stains before soaking.
Use the same gentle detergent diluted with water.
Apply lightly with a clean, soft cloth or your fingertip.
Gently blot (do not rub or scrub) the stained area.
Rinse the spot gently with cool water before full washing.
Be especially cautious around beading, sequins, and embellishments.
1. Prepare the Basin
Clean your sink or basin thoroughly.
Fill it with cool to lukewarm water (never hot water).
Add a small amount of gentle detergent. Recommended options:
Soak Wash (no rinse, plant-based formula)
Eucalan Fine Fabric Wash (lanolin-enriched, preserves fibers)
Woolite Delicates (enzyme-free, protects fabric fibers)
Forever New Liquid (fragrance-free, color-safe cleanser)
Dirty Labs Hand Wash & Delicates (biodegradable, pH-balanced for delicates)
2. Submerge the Garment
Turn the garment inside out to protect embellishments.
Gently place the garment into the water.
Lightly move it through the water — do not rub, scrub, twist, or wring.
3. Optional: Add a Color Catcher
To help prevent color bleeding, use a Shout Color Catcher sheet.
4. Soak Gently
Allow the garment to soak for up to 30 minutes if needed.
Never exceed 1 hour.
Never use hot water at any stage.
5. Rinse Thoroughly
Drain the soapy water.
Refill with clean, cool water.
Gently rinse until all detergent is removed and the water runs clear.
6. Remove Excess Water
Carefully lift the garment, supporting its weight.
Press out water gently by hand — do not twist or wring.
Optional: Lay the garment flat on a clean towel, roll it up, and press to absorb more moisture.
7. Dry Flat
Reshape the garment as needed.
Lay flat on a clean, dry towel in a shaded, well-ventilated area.
Do not hang, use direct sunlight, or use heat.
Silk garments require even gentler care:
Test a hidden area first for colorfastness.
Use only silk-safe, gentle detergent.
Hand wash quickly in cool to lukewarm water.
Limit soaking time to no more than 3–5 minutes.
Gently rinse and press water out — do not wring.
Lay flat to dry away from sunlight or direct heat.
Never use a washer or dryer — this will cause damage and loss of embellishments.
Never use hot or boiling water — it weakens fabric, loosens beading/sequins, and causes color bleeding
We are not responsible for damage caused by improper cleaning.
